Location of the dive site :
MANTEHAGE ISLAND NEAR BUNAKEN ISLAND

22. Bango

This is the name of the village on the south side of Montehage Island. It is more of a steep slope than a steep wall and offers lots of soft corals. We still explore this side. Every time we dive or snorkel here, we have the feeling we are there for the first time. It truly is a huge reef and actually should have some more names. So far seen: bullhead shark, thresher shark, oceanic white tip shark and a large school of white spotted eagle rays. Also the small miracles, such as pigmy seahorse, colorful nudibranchs and harlequin ghostpipe fish. Most of the time we dive there the current is gentle, but if the tides change, it can be stronger.
